Study of glass and water...

Study of "water through glass bottle" and testing paper...
I'm terrible with names!! I don't remember the name of this paper right now, but I like when the finish gets matt like this for some kinds of watercolor sketches. I'll try it out for some longer, but I'm quite slow with panting lately. I'm thinking a lot about it though. I'm even starting to think I'm a slow painter. Like Edward Hopper who only did a painting a year for several decades. : )

You're not slow, you're patient :-)

Sometimes It's nice to take your time and enjoy the journey. The way you paint glass is wonderful. In fact amazing!

Love the way you paint glass and water. Doesn´t matter the time. "Piano, piano si va lontano"
If you find the name of the paper...

Bellissimo studio, cara Helen, e la carta risponde proprio bene. Però... un solo dipinto all'anno mi sembra poco per come sai esprimerti... Ti auguro quindi un lavoro sereno ma tanti colori. Ciao, Luigi.

Marisa, the paper is BFK Rives and I think the brand is Canson.
