Camellia for my students...




Tomorrow we continue our flower studies during watercolor session.
Here we have a backlit camellia; we'll try to obtain a luminous contrast against the dark background and effects of transparencies within the flower. Paper used is here of Moulin le Coq "Le Rouge", I'll try the same work on Arches to compare them both and confirm my thoughts about their differences, a good way to learn is to do the same subject several times while trying to do better and differently.
If I'm a little more satisfied soon, I'll tell you more about the process...
