Just a little while alone at home this afternoon to explore one of my new sketchbooks. It didn't turn out at all as I thought it would and I wasn't at all supposed to do the vieuw from my window again. But the light was nice up there at that moment, after a long day of pouring rain. I guess that was how I could paint at all, thank's to the sun and the contrasts it creates.
Anyway I'm suprised how well I could work with watercolor on this paper. Even though it looks a little like a gouache, that's ok with me. It feels like I'm going to have fun with my new sketchbook…

La gouache c'est très bien aussi... Une petite peinture vive, avec de jolis contrastes, c'est très réussi.
