Nouveau livre ! New Book!

Bonjour à tous ! 

Les mois et les saisons s'enchainent et là, enfin, j’ai une nouvelle à vous annoncer ! J'ai écrit un livre sur la peinture à l'aquarelle, édité par Mango (Éditions Fleurus), dont la sortie est prévue le 6 novembre. Il est le résultat et la récompense de longs mois de travail d’écriture, peinture et prises de vue. 

Mes cours d’aquarelle m’ont permis de faire un certain nombre de constatations au fil des années et j’ai ainsi pu résumer dans ce livre les bases essentielles et autres conseils et techniques qui permettront à chacun d’avancer dans sa pratique. 

J’aborde le matériel, le dessin et la composition. J’explique mes choix de couleurs, les mélanges et les techniques d’application sur support sec ou humide, avant de peindre mes nature mortes d’inspiration végétale pas à pas, pour l’illustrer en pratique.

Hello everybody !

The months and seasons flow and here, at last, I have news to announce! I have written a book about watercolor painting  for my editor Mango (Éditions Fleurus) which is planned to be released the 6th of November. This is the result and reward of long months of work of writing, painting and shooting. It’s a French edition, but I hope it will be available in English soon too.

My regular watercolor lessons have allowed me to make a great number of observations during the years and to compose the content of this book, including essential basics and further advices and techniques to push skills to another level. 

I talk about material, drawing and composition as well as my colors and mixtures in général. I explain the various techniques of application, on dry or wet paper, before showing my nature inspired still lifes step by step, to illustrate it in practice. 

It can be ordered on Amazon, and maybe other bookstores. I'm not quite sure about abroad, but I hope so. (I recommend an understanding of French though)
