One of yesterday's subjects and demo during painting class was "how to paint the illusion of water in a jar". Explanations about what makes it look like water and how to apply the paint get the impression of translucent water.
This session was preceded, last week, by learning how to make colored grey tones with primary colors. And how to match your mixes with any chosen color (except dark colors), by doing swatches using primary colors.
