Conditions can be tricky when painting from a boat, but it's great fun. You have to paint fast and accept it's moving and changing directions, no use to draw. It forces you to observe fast and memorise first impressions. The mountains shapes changes as the boat moves on. So I think you can see the difference between the effect on these paintings and those showed below and painted on a quiet spot.
