Still life painting in my new work space...
I've been finishing installation in my new workspace lately and I'm slowly getting used it, with new feelings and moods. Mostly happy and contente ones and my optimism is growing each date. Must get disciplined with wake up hour to get a maximum out of the day to also have enough peace in mind to do everything including going out to get air. Twice this week it turned out complicated (only got to the bakery in the evening (!)) so I can improve on that. Improve on getting effective, which seems much more reachable now.
Here is a watercolor I did as a try this afternoon, things could be developed on it but I prefer to leave it as it is to continue on a new one with those things in mind, which are only possibilities to explore. This way I will paint more without getting too focused on each painting. My goal is to develop gesture and technic but above all work on compositions, to search and practice, to just paint for now !
This year I'm also mentally ready to try some acrylics or oil painting again. No other pressure...
Beautiful painting! Interesting that you are trying to get more out of every day. I am trying as well, time has a way of slipping by so quickly and before you know it the day is done.
ReplyDeleteThank you Joanne!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree, and I'm a slow mood person most of the time. I like to take my time, to observe to feel time pass slowly, not fast. But I realize I have to be just a bit more organized time wise to get more painting and drawing done, enough meditating already now I can get to it!
Yes, it's perfect as is: so serene and delicate. The little cup just radiates fragility!
