My (forever) glass and water studies...
My (forever) glass and water studies; in my sketchbook...
and on Canson paper (Moulin du Roy)...
But as usual I prefer what seems to be watercolor papers that are less adapted, simpler or cheaper than most of watercolor papers made for that purpose.
For an other example I also paint my figure paintings on some drawing papers (Sennelier) and washes react lovely just as the colors which stays vivid and transparent. They do that when the pigments dries on the surface instead of being absorbed into the paper.
Very beautiful Helen. Love the colors and the light you captured here. Hope you have a great day.
