Engravings, two still lifes... (4)

Here we got last weeks print, the glass with stones. This is my best print since I started a few months ago. I'm actually very happy about it, because for some time I wasn't sure of the interest of doing this compared to a classic drawing. I see clearer now and my hope is coming back. The hope of being able to develop my engravings into what I imagined it could be.
The print just above, the glass with pine cones, is what I prepared yesterday for today's session... the result is a little dark but that's fine with me here. I might try to work on it a little more to get some light back. But sometimes I feel it's just as good to go on to the next project, while trying to keep in mind what I learned from this.
