I had a "off-family afternoon" today. I decided to go to Musée d'Orsay to get some drawing done. As there were too many people waiting to get in, even in the fast line, I decided to sit down outside the museum. It got cold after a while so I just manage to paint these two watercolor sketches. But what's most important is that I now feel I'll have to organise my time to do more watercolors next year, so I hope I can keep that in mind...
I'm particularly fan of the three ones, and especially of the greenish at bottom. Oh his coat! It feels like the little "unpainted pictures" by Emil Nolde.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice end of year. JBP
Thank you for your words Jean-Baptiste. I saw the exposition of Emil Nolde in Paris but the figure on my watercolor didn't make me think of his. But if it does to you, I'm happy! HAPPY 2011, I wich you the best!
