Figure drawing sessions... (7)

A little struggle to draw figures today. This might be the only one I find interesting.
Finally, looking back, this second drawing has got something I kind of like too...

  1. The struggle was worth it for this gem, Helen. I really like the mask, the angle, the hidden face...perhaps you'd think about developing it into something bigger, a finished piece?

  3. I really like the masked face too. You should really do something with it! Where did the idea come from in the first place?

  4. Thank you Tim,
That model likes to bring funny things with her that she uses for her sittings... and I've noticed that every time it gives me creative ideas and inspiration.
What I'm thinking of now, is that I should have my own model. Make her be part of different "made up situations" weard or funny... I can really feel some quind of exiting inspiration, the whole image of the drawing is in my mind, when I think of it. I like portraits and I would like to develop that, but I want them to have a special spirit. Right now I'm feeling I've just found how I want the portraits and in what direction I should work.
